I can't stand channel surfing! We record our favourite shows and playback in the evening when we have time. Fast forwarding the breaks is a big bonus.
Also, I pretty much exclusively watch YouTube and Netflix. Too much shite on regular TV these days.

We are all pretty much on the same page with that one. Hmm wonder how wide that consensus is?

I genuinely don’t think any of the terrestrial channels have anything I would like to watch, I used to watch the news on sky every morning while munching my Frosties but I have come to realise how depressing that is to start your day off so now it’s amazon or Netflix with the odd bit of iptv thrown in

The thread title ask's what makes us turn channel....I mentioned Brendan O Carrol earlier in the thread and now Boris Johnson. I never brought politics into it....you did. I didn't hear objections to comedians being mentioned....I find Brendan O Carrol obnoxious to listen to and look at on my TV....As do I Boris Johnson....I switch over.
