Thanks for the overnight parking tip re Coal Harbour, Dun Laoghaire. Plenty of space, a peaceful night and a fine walk around the harbour walls in the September sunshine the next morning. If you've not been before, be aware of two things.
Firstly, it's not actually sign-posted as Coal Harbour as far as we could see, so stop and ask if you're not sure.
Secondly, if you arrive tired and not as cautious as you should be, take care reversing onto a level space.
The reversing camera and both wing mirrors might show 'all clear'....but as the sun goes down it's possible to smack your rear end into one of the skinny car park lamp-posts.
