MHCC open weekend

 ·

MHCC open weekend is the same weekend as last year, the first weekend of October, 2019.

We have a LOT of vans already booked in and it's getting quite full.

However there are some spaces left and if you would like to join us at Carlingford Marina on the 4th & 5th October then you must of been registered on here and have an enabled and active account since before July 2019.

Come along and see what Motorhome craic club is all about, we don't bite as some would have you believe 😂 Last years open weekend would of shown everyone that.

There is entertainment on both nights and a new renovated bar to see.

You must PM myself and give me the names of those attending to be added to the list.

Don't hesitate, it's going to be great Craic!!!

P.S, we will have facilities and our welcome pack available if anyone wishes to join MHCC. 👍 you are under no obligation.

P.P.S. MHCC insurance will not be active on this weekend, this is on a privately owned marina and you are under their guidlines and insurance. At no time will MHCC be responsible for parking.

Really hoping to make this one as family events have kept me away from a number of get together this year, it should be great craic.

 ·

Hi, would there be any spaces left on the open weekend in Carlingford please? I have been registered with the site, not sure how long but am interested in meeting other motorhomers as I'm new to all this. Bought my motorhome in May last year and haven't got to use it much as husband not as keen on it so I need to make some new friends and build up my confidence learning the ropes. Thought this would be a great opportunity to meet likeminded people.

Looking forward to your reply.

Many thanks.

Rosemary

Rosemary, you’re a member since July and I’ve added you and hubby to the attendance list for the open weekend in Carlingford. Looking forward to meeting you.
Watch the site for further announcements in the next 10 days or so.

Anyone else?.... going to be a smashing meet...
Get on the list and come along and meet other ‘craicers’ and see what it’s all about.
PM Ally or myself if you want to come along.

A little rain on Saturday afternoon and quite a heavy downpour after dark but overall it looks pretty good for the weekend.

Hasn't been a good night here, we're not going to make it to Carlingford today.

Maisie, our little King Charles Cavalier, passed away overnight. She'd been on her walk for the school pick up yesterday afternoon, she jumped up on the couch beside us yesterday evening as usual. She had bit of a cough over the last few days but nothing dramatic.

After 10 last night she threw up a couple of times and was very lethargic, we were going to bring her to the vet this morning but she didn't wake up.

RIP Maisie

Thanks for the kind regards. We're all devistated.
Kind of glad we were delayed yesterday, if she had passed away in the van in Carlingford last night, it could have left a cloud over trips for quite a while.
Hope you all enjoy your weekend.
