Lets have all your Do's and Don'ts when parking, I'll then create a guide for all Motorhome owners.
If you just add....................... example.....
Do:
Do - park inside a parking bay when you can
Do - think of others when parking
Do - run a generator only if absolutely necessary (medical reasons) and only during the day.
Do - Always use the farthest bays from the entrance of the car park
If you have to take up two spaces then put two tickets on your windscreen.
Where possible leave parking car spaces in front of you, that way everyone can enjoy the view.
When arriving late or leaving early don’t faff about, drive straight in/out
Do respect the the local community and the environment
Always try a spend a few quid in the village or town and try and make sure you tell them you're staying in a Motorhome.
Don't:
Don't Park across bays unless you are in a very large car park and have no option, then only for a short time.
Don't cause an obstruction
Don't leave rubbish behind, even in public bins, if possible.
Don't leave your engine running when parked in close proximity to anybody.
Don't squeeze in
Dispose of grey water... unless facilities are provided.
Don’t put out tables/chairs other than on a campsite where permitted.
Don't empty the toilet cassette anywhere other than a proper disposal point.
Try not to park with Hab door to Hab door / sliding door ( vans )
Don't carry on a loud conversation with someone inside the van while you are outside the van (very rude)
If you are a dog lover don't assume everybody else is, keep them on a lead in your own pitch.
If on hook up for lecky and/Or water, turn them of when you leave your MH, not nice coming back to water running down the step or some fault blowing something.
