Utv on Itv player

Not that there are a load of programmes to watch. But I was trying to watch the Ulster Giants, Joe Mahon thing with my dad on Sunday but couldn't find it on the Itv player. Tried a smart TV, android box, PlayStation. Not on any of them. I can see it on the in a Web browser but it won't let me cast it. Quite a PITA.

Any ideas out there?

You can watch it in a web browser? Should be able to cast a browser to a big screen if you have everything in place.

Chromecast in TV, device connected to same connection.

Definitely couldn't from chrome browser on my phone. Beats me why it's not on the main ITV player. All the local stuff disappeared when the UTV player was discontinued.

I need to try it from my laptop chrome browser. But it's hard to believe itv can just leave an entire region off the main app. BBC are the complete opposite, you can watch all regional programs by just using the search. I'll report back if I get it working.

Can it run a chrome browser from a phone full screen on TV?

I can broadcast anything on my ipad screen through a browser via a chrome cast with that app.
Just copy the URL from your normal browser and paste it into the app, it plays the video content straight to the TV screen as a normal chrome cast does.

Don’t forget to change the input on your tv to the hdmi port the Chromecast is connected to. I’ve done this a few times and wondered why it wasn’t casting. Usually after a few scoops.
