and spent another £200 on it, having it modified to make it more secure when carrying my BMW R1200GS Adventure. Looks like a trailer, but is in fact a rack with castor wheels which swivel when in reverse. This means the rack is fixed and the wheels point where the vehicle is going and no trailer reversing skills are required.
I fitted a locking wheel wheel chock and extra tie down points for my 1200cc Adventure bike, new light bar and it comes with a spare wheel. I only used it once, on a Craic meet to the North West 200 last year.
Spoke to the manufacturer as I was concerned about the weight of my bike, he stated the system is rated for a bike at 250KG althought the system could carry up to 500kg. Reason for the 250 limit was due to stress on the tow bar. As the towbar on my motorhome was well braced I was more than happy to go with it.
Asking less than it stands me.... £800
