The Porterhouse in Castlebridge, http://theporterhousecastlebridge.ie/ , are happy to allow their customers to stay overnight in their carpark. No services. Good grub, (see menus on their website), and live music on Wed and Sat nights and most Sundays as well. Less than 10 min drive from Wexford town. Google street view. https://www.google.ie/maps/@52…384!8i8192

Would be a great stop for anyone going to Rosslare for a early boat. or coming off a late one.

Uhm. Tbh. I think hard of leaving the car there, but there is some that do.

there has been damage to vehicles there in the past, mainly on busy weekends.
I haven't heard of anything happening lately, but, a lot of people are still reluctant.
Its not necessarily the pub patrons now, a few gurriers in the village, always on the lookout for mischief.
The people that run the Pub, Myles and Sharon, are the best you will find.

Is that unattended cars left in the carpark overnight when the owner has a few and got a lift home or campers with people inside .?

Cars mainly. One or instances of vans broken into and tools removed. Again not that recently. Never seen a camper there tbh. I’m not trying to knock it, I’m just wary, from experience. It’s probably no worse than a lot of places i have stopped. Ignorance is bliss etc etc.

The problem with knowing a local area, you wouldn't park there as you hear everything that goes on. But others do it and think it's a grand spot.

We sometimes give our own areas a bad rep, due to having our ears to close to the ground.
