We hope to land in Brussels on this Tuesday/ Wednesday.
The aire listed on campercontact is booked out for the week.
Other campsites listed on Google maps have terrible reviews because of residency use.
We have the low emissions zone clearance to enter the city.
I am looking for recommendation for an overnight stay in a nearby town with a bus or train link into the city.
Or secondly, city parking near the main attractions just for the day.
Many thanks folks.

I understand the park4night app.
The very bare answer in post #2 really vexed me.
It was like telling a fella to change his Collins map to an AA map instead.
Sorry if my reply was not very polite.
Anyway, upon further research, Brussels shall not be receiving us because they have very little parking.
Ghent and Brugges, here we come.
Many thanks to the folks who posted constructive comments.

I stayed in the International Youth Hostel for a couple of nights. Brussels is my least favourite city in all of the cities I’ve seen. Take away the EU stuff and a couple of cathedrals and it has nothing. More thieves than you could shake a baton at! Oh, the hostel has parking for about 8 vans behind a 12 foot wall. It is also very hard to find and enter because of parked cars.

I stayed in the International Youth Hostel for a couple of nights.

That seems to be the main place with in the city.
We tried to book it but it had over a week waiting list for reservations.
Thanks for the suggestion n

Hi Malcolm, I was looking earlier and doesn't seem to be altogether motorhome country, I looked at a site Pitchup.com and they show 11 sites in the whole country and I think most are in Luxemburg ,Limburg Antwerp.
https://www.vacansoleil.ie/ also show 12sites and none where you're looking at.
ACSI Eurocampings would seem to the best site.

The Aire in the centre of Brugges is also difficult to get into as it is usually full unless you arrive as people leave in the morning. Right next to it is a huge bus parking area where motorhomes regularily Park. The bus park is the same price as the Aire at €25 per day (12 to 24hours). There are no services available in the bus park but you can use the bins and toilet dump in the Aire.

If you need the coordinates just ask and I’ll dig them out.

Bruges is a lovely place. Just make sure you don't go over the 24 hour period as they will charge for another full day even if your only a couple of minutes over.

Forgot to mention there are toilets in the ‘terminal building’ at the bus park. Don’t know opening hours.
