Our daughter just showed me our old roller team for sale on done deal, this was our first camper, I felt very nostalgic and slightly protective but very proud all my upholstery work and hubbies cabinets are still looking pristine. Does anyone else feel the same about their first motorhome or am I an ole softie😀also makes the one we have look very shabby as I haven’t got around to revamping this one ✂

We only got rid of it cause the kids wouldn’t go with us anymore. Great Craic with them in it though 😀 If I do up this one we have he’ll probably want to sell it we’re never happy with our lot 😫

It must be a Tipperary thing Doreen, That's exactly how I feel about our first Motorhome too.

To me it is like your first Motorhome is a very significant purchase, and you will always be thinking about where that first investment ended up.

Daughters theory,
It’s like the firstborn child she thinks they are a little bit more special than the others 😭Guess where she comes in our family of 3 .
Maybe living in a house with Tipperary born husband and 3 kids has rubbed off on me 😀
Eeyries tomorrow, might get some inspiration for fabric from village looks very colorful

I was in our old Mh again as they were beside us in Tollymore the Halloween after craic meetingin Lumpers.and I too felt nostalgic , they even had the cardboard box I covered in contact paper to keep the odd bits and pieces together under sink and easy to pull out.

My first Motorhome was a Pilote 24S. An excellent Motorhome and had I kept it I would be a lot richer today. Having said that we are delighted with our Adria Vision and won’t be changing it.

I have fond memories of our first camper, a VW 1.6 air cooled camper.it might have been a Devon conversion.from the 70s I just loved the noise it made. It didn’t have any luxuries but was great to drive. When I see one on the road now I realise how small it was.

The older I get, the more nostalgic I become about EVERYTHING I had years ago... I think I've come to and passed a turning point where I prefer older stuff.

I regularly check the trader sites for my first car, first bike, first boat etc and I'm sure I'd buy them up pretty quick if I found any of them at a reasonable price!

Husbands mountain bike he bought for his confirmation is hanging in our shed, only for I know his bright yellow fiat 127 (first car) was wrote off by someone else that would probably be still in the shed aswell, action man and all his gear are still in our attic, we’re kinda of sentimental about things, while I moan about keeping things we don’t use anymore and still I’ve kept all of my kids toys in the attic with all the empty LEGO boxes. Just in our nature I suppose 😀
