For person al reasons we have decided to sell the van we have enjoyed for the last 6 years. We did a lovely 3 month Winter trip to Spain in it.
1999 Dethleffs LHD Globetrotter Esprit A522 6m

Fiat X230 Camping Car 1.4 tonne chassis; 2.8 iDTD; returns about 30 mpg; AFAIK genuine 76,000 km

DoE 12 months

4 seat belts; rated 3200kg [weighed ready for trip to Spain, full tanks, 2 people was under the limit, about 3000kg]

Solar panel, Battery Master trickle charge to vehicle battery

Guidosimplex Syncro Drive, clutch pedal depressed by putting hand on gear knob

Back box; Drive Rite semi air suspension on rear

Service items; rebuilt alternator, new clutch, new sump, new front crossmember, new rear shocks, brake shoes and pads, timing chain and water pump

Damp check November 2018 – passed with flying colours

Maintained last 6 years in Tipperary North and viewable at Pat Horan's place.

A price and pictures would be very helpful as I may have a buyer for you

I have asked Pat to handle the sale I think a buyer will have more confidence in the van knowing the Pat stands behind it.
I bought it from him in 2013 and Tristan has maintained it since.

The price is negotiable and won't be exorbitant.

Sorry one is rotated, I haven't used this function before!

That's the twin of my former van, I loved the layout, especially the fact that you can leave a single berth permanently made up down in the back. Great starter van for a family of up to five as it has five seatbelts. Should sell quickly, especially if the price is right. Pity Pat Horan never put prices on anything on their website or even in their yard, very frustrating.

Flipperdipper just going to say the same, identical in every way, furnishing colour, decals ( except we didn’t have back box, which will be excellent for extra storage) ours was also same year, though Dublin reg.
I loved it , great layout, decent toilet area. We sold it privately to a family of 5 , neighbours of a motorhome owner friends.
It looks in excellent condition, I hope JonMac46 you get a good price. Though as anyone who has changed motorhomes can be very disappointed at price you get through a dealer but buyers would probably prefer having some guarantee.
I think my favourite feature was the number of people who could come in for a chat and have a seat (9) though of course for travelling only the number of berths/seatbelts.

Just heard from Pat Horan that a very happy couple loved the van and have taken delivery. We wish them many happy years.
