Fridge on Gas for full 3 day Festival?

I just got a motorhome and have the type of fridge that runs on electric and gas etc. and am going to a few music festivals over the summer and want to use the fridge to keep the beers etc. chilled so can you run the fridge on gas constantly for the 3 day festival and if so would the gas actually last that long from the gas bottle?

Or are there other alternatives that are better suited to this situation?

Any advice greatly appreciated!

Always use the gas, in fact there is no other option really without EHU. You could run it for weeks on end on gas, it will be fine.

They also use very little.

The fridge will run forever on gas if you can afford it during the winter I would run the fridge for a week on gas just to keep it used then ehu and on van batt a few times my fridge is never off after all you wouldn’t turn your house fridge of 😀👍🍺

Thanks for the advice folks!

Also I have a solar panel on the roof that recharges the leisure battery so could I run the fridge off that instead of the gas?

No, it would kill your battery in a few hours, also if it is a coachbuilt Motorhome you wouldn't be able too as it only works on 12 volt when you are driving.

Agree with all above. It’s the cooking and especially heating that really use your gas. Not much need for heating at the moment!

I average 31 days in the summer and 17 days in the winter from an 11 kg gas bottle.
