We have recently spent 2 great weekends here. For those of you who haven't been for a while motorhomers now park behind the pub in a gated gravelled area shielded from the road by trees. As well as reducing road noise this makes it more private. There's loads of space and you can sit out on chairs and do your cooking outside. It's still free, and Gene can't do enough to make you welcome. This morning he brought bread to each of the 3 vans that were here. The pub won't have changed much in style since his parents kept it, and there's a great atmosphere with friendly locals. Also music at weekends as Gene plays lots of instruments and is joined by a variety of musicians.
