I’ve been here before but the have improved it a lot. Just €10 for 24 hours max stay 48 hrs. Electricity etc. This is a great place and I hope we don’t mess it up with folk not complying with their rules.

Yes, we stay there quite a lot. The waterway Ireland card is something that is very useful.

Stayed at Portumna for two nights recently. It's great with great surroundings, lovely views, fantastic facilities.

However, we won't use it again unless we are passing through and need it for an overnight. I can see how it suits most Motorhomers but it's not for us.

Parked to close together for my liking, you could hear next door snore.

Paul's water pump woke me up!

Lovely, but not for us.

Wouldbt it be interesting to know how much Galway Co Co collected for parking at Portumna Aires in 2019,
The info could come in handy to have for further talks with Galway City Council or any other council

Stayed there New Years Day and yesterday. Lovely setting. They have security cameras which were being put up last time we were there. Apart from the income it would be interesting to hear are they happy with it, positives and negatives. They usually come around to collect rubbish as I didn't see any bins.

New cassette emptying facility installed beside the drive over grey water area

Very simple design and does the job perfectly.
I see it's at 'hip height' which is the recommendation in Fáilte Irelands recommended standard for motorhome service points, no need for seniors to creak the back stooping down.

If only the tap was operated by a foot pedal of some sort or knee push pad kinda set up,
It would be a heck of a lot more hygenic,

Good to see progress though 👍🏻

25 vans here at the minute for only 20 spaces 😳
Spoke with the council guy this evening, he was happy enough, but he said to move from car spaces for 10am
Guy was 100%

Stayed here again on our way to Co.Clare and on our way home here now on way home. It is a lovely sunny morning.
It is always neat and tidy with Noel calling around morning and evening to collect any rubbish and checked we have paid - as we keep ticket from machine in side window otherwise not visible if we have our external screens on.
