50 years ago, in the north if we thought something was bad, terrible, tasted horrible, etc etc, we would say “that’s cat” pronounced “kiat” .
I think that old saying would be appropriate here.

Cat lying on car reminds me of the driver phoning up the traffic manager to report a broken door mirror, the manager say where are you, up on the roundabout ,was the reply. Well bring it down to the yard and we will put a new one on says the manager. I cant says the driver the lorry is on top of it.
