Joining a club

Can anyone give me info on joining a club like the imcc, it seems very complicated, and it seems you need to know other members to join, is this correct? I have only just got my motorhome, and Im looking to join a club for the meetups and the insurance benefits, but not sure how to.

Not sure about other clubs, but;
Join up to our own club, the MHCC.... tons of meets, festival discounts, other discounts and friendly bunch.

I am already joined, and it is a great group
I was mistaken in thinking that the other group would be helpful for insurance but after further research and a insurance quote that suits me
. I have given up my search and will spend all my time reading this forum, of much more useful information 😁
