Stopped off in Annagassan tonight on my way from Galway. Just 1 other van here and had a super meal in the Glyde Pub and a pint of Guinness. All very reasonable and delicious. Will feel fresher to drive home in the morning as I was exhausted.

We went to the Opera night there in November. We stayed in the van on the pier afterwards. The food and music was fantastic. It was Christmas carols and a bit of light opera. Highly recommended

Stayed there on Friday night, two other vans there. Took a walk up the the Glyde Inn and had a bite to eat and it was the first time in it and its a lot bigger than it looks with a nice restaurant at the back although we stayed in the front very close to the fire and it was hard to leave.

Much better views at the front in the large restaurant. Although the bar area is very cosy.
