Round Ireland hopefully

Well we started our trip sat ,first stop malinhead 🤪staying in a field beside the sea view pub Dennis layed on a great weekend many thanks and thanks to all here for a great few days you all know who you are, a bit of rain great pubs, star wars all over the place, great fire work display in Malin on fri night heading south later will blog more later

Traveled down Enniscrone not impressed at all went down behind the hotel only to be confronted by a shop owner telling us it was all private land and to park in the car park as soon as we pulled up kids in two cars pulled up deside us and started drinking vodka that was it time to move on ,we went to belle elk park camp sight would highly recommend it clean toilets washroom good around site will definitely go back to it €22 for everything but the showers that was a 1€ token ,traveled up to Downpatrick head what a site you got to go see that , we done a bit more of the coast and decided to go to portumna so we arrived here 20 mins ago going into town for a walk and a beer catch up tomorrow f..k the roads are so good down here

Portumna great place the Aire is something else only downside can’t empty toilet waste besides that YES pub of the year Hayes a small watering hole but The Guinness was tops 10/10 seamus the owner a gentleman got the guitar out and we had a great night kicked us out12.30 this place is well worth a visit . We are now in sneem ,what a drive came through Killarney national park not for the faint hearted if you can find another way round go for it .were parked in the Motorhome site by the river have been up the town got a bite to eat in one of the pubs can’t remember the name was good but the bars are great €10.00 for the night back in camper feet up and a few more beers before bed ,going to head back up north tomorrow ,talk to you then

No we’re going to stop in Cashil at cashil lodge ,arrived at cashil lodge what a lovely spot the owner is a gentleman only 4 pitches but we’re the only ones here €25 for the night but you get a lot for your bucks showers toilets kettle toaster black water toilet rubbish points only 5 mins walk into town also a free pass into the rock of cashil sun shinnng here we came up from sneem to mallow stopped for a hour took a walk round the shops nice town ,must say the roads aren’t as good as the coast roads but saying that there still 10 times better than what we have in the north ,heading up town now will fill you all in tomorrow we’re heading up to north beach in rush .forgot to say a lot of work going no around the sneem site they where just putting in a black water dump so anybody going at the weekend should be able to use it ,once it’s finished it will be a great site and the next time we go it will be for a few days

Got up early this morning had a shower lovely hot water and room to move ,went up to cashil rock a must see great history also went to the abbey which is just across the road fr om the Aire ,must say small Aries like this should be supported lovely quiet night we walked into cashil last night some nice pubs most of the shops were closed didn’t see to many places to eat ,
We headed up to rush but called into Malahide to see about the marina,will put a report up on the members sec of the forum, in north beach campsite seems a nice place ,I’m sure some of you have stayed here going to try and post a few photos of our travels

Well went out on the town in rush started at the drop in and worked our way down nice town lovely beach,our only complaint it’s the dearest drink in Ireland ,Malin Head €8.50 pint and a Pernod much the same all the way down to sneem, got to rush €10.60 and that was in the Carolynn near the camp site will give that pub a miss when we go back all in all we had a great week the weather was great we covered over a thousand miles and didn’t kill each other
