I'm starting to look around for our next motorhome and I see motorhomedepot.com popping up a lot.
Has anyone here had any dealings with them?
They seem to be a broker rather than a dealership with a showroom.

Thanks,

seanmc

Yeah they are a broker. Had some small dealings, not overly impressed, but I was selling not buying. Check warranty and after sales reviews.

Central motorhomes in saintfield used to run the motorhomedepot.com franchise, don't know if they still do.Bought my first motorhome through them in 2016. Found them first class, they serviced and did a full hab check as part of the deal and also gave a 12 month warranty on a 2003 van which I was delighted with. The van i bought turnrd out to be a trade in which they advertised through motorhomedepot so I don't know if they would give any warranty for motorhomes they sell as brokers.

My sister in law had her Motorhome up for sale and was approached by them with an offer to market it.

As stated, they are often selling somebody else's Motorhome for a much higher price than the owner receives. They make several £K for advertising your goods.

I bypassed them and dealt with my sister in law and bought her Motorhome from her instead.

You could save yourself some time and money and just come and buy mine :-)

a lovely looking motorhome Betty, not quite what we're looking for though. It's all about the layout, instead of location, location, location, it's layout, layout, layout.

Thanks everyone for the input

The three most important things.

When I was changing, I contacted a few Motorhomedepot.com dealers in England and some were horrendous - one sales rep was in a pub and it seemed as if he wasn't interested in selling anything.

In my dealings at the time with Central Motorhomes who also run Motorhomedepot NI, I found them (Neil Hall) to be very good and very honest - if a van has issues or damp (and they often do) they will tell you straight away. I didn't buy from them in the end. I didn't use them to sell my existing van as I sold privately but they are a broker and add a warranty and charge for this brokering facility - read the T&Cs and check it out carefully.
