This is my first trip abroad on my motorhome after just retiring from working after 49 yrs.
it’s my 2nd trip only having travelled south to Cobh and Clonakilty last weekend to “test” my camper before heading to France for the next month to explore and relax.
Totally new venture for me and my Partner Anna.
We have no definite plan other than head south towards the Loire Valley for a week or two, then maybe up the west coast etc. as we’ve planned our lives always but now we want to go with the flow and relax.
Our trip started with a very late (10hrs) delay on ferry due to weather so we arrive in Cherbourg tonight about 8pm.
We plan to travel about an hour max away from Port, lay up for a day on a good site and plan again heading towards Caen for a few days.
Any suggestions welcomed 👍
