Thanks for welcome. I'm new to motorhoming. However I have travelled extensively all around Europe on motorbikes. I now want to do it with the better half. I've researched what model I wanted for about 1.5 years and bought a 2004 Hymer B584 Classic, 23,000 miles and in perfect nick last month. It has an awning, bike rack & alarm fitted. I was able to pick up (2nd hand) a reconditioned Oyster Vision 1 Sat system that had a software upgrade and new gearing and motor installed. Getting a base plate made at present. The only thing left for the new year is putting a scooter rack on the back.
I took her away solo to try everything and figure it all out. So far so good. However I do believe that I will be needing members help over time.

Welcome to the craic.

Sounds like you are getting sorted out very well on your own.
