Anyone ever stayed overnight at the Vicarstown Poi indicated on the Motorhome Parking App. If so would you recommend it?

We were there in May. Stayed for a few hours. Locals told us that campers use the tow path between the pub and the canal for overnights. It's a bit tight getting in as you are driving on the canal wall but what we were told is head for the gate about 50m in and there is plenty of room there for a couple of vans. We parked there without causing any inconvenience to other users and plenty off room to turn around to get back out. Not sure what the pub is like.

Hmm... a car load of rowdies visited at 10.30. Shouted abuse and screamed their car down the towpath. Didnt come back so all pretty harmless but unsettling.
Hopefully photo here...

Place I was talking about is the other side of the canal. There's a gate across it so no passing traffic unless they're down for a bit of horizontal jogging.
