Pricey new, 4400 at my local dealer.
I bought a used 172 MSX 125 for the back of the camper, same engine and frame but it has a mono shock instead of the Monkey's twin rear shocks.
I'm heading for the Monkey bike run in Tipp on the 20th of this month, should be a laugh and there is camping on site.

Looks a lot bigger than the original monkey bike?

I like the retro look of that though... nice.

I found Insurance to be hard enough to get for the MSX, can't speak for the Monkey but on a three bike policy they would only cover the MSX third party only no for and no theft.
Surprised me as it's a 125 but obviously they are a target.

Another good one is a Dax 125 or copy. A friend of mine had one at work and when we got him out we used to haul it into a tree or put it on top of a portacabin roof. It was fun watching him get it down
