Well i think i can say, without a doubt, the best birthday party weekend i have been at was Allys 50th in Breckenhill.
But did we learn from it? Yes, we learned a couple of things.
1. Breckenhill is a great venue, loads to do for kids, from Archery, fishing, tennis, playground, paintball and probably a lot more that i didnt see.
Great set up for weekend stays, and hopefully we have a couple more meets there. However, beware the low overhang on the trees on the avenue toward the smaller entrance .
Ally Onion is madder than a bag of frogs.
Sprinter hates the Daniel O Donnell add for gas boiler service because, well, its the government trying to mammy us. (or something to that effect) No doubt Martin will clear it up. Oh, and if he sees you walking up hill with about a mile to go to the venue, his first thought isnt, " i wonder would they like a lift", its " i wonder would they walk the dog up to the site for me"
Ally Onion is as mad as a brush.
Tommy S will pull over his moped and have a word with you on the side of a road, and give you a brief history lesson of the area, while mrs Tommy S sits patiently on the back.
Nick and Margaret like fancy hats, and wear them well.
Loud music scares Craicers
The chef and his assistants done a great job, the food was top class.
The music, was f*****ing superb. Hilton, we will have a bit more of that. Davy Watson, Hot Eyre, John Flanagan, TWISTED SISTER, (crazy as always), Prodigal Hal, Anti Depressants, Paul and the Meanie, all on the top of their game and rocking it out, or chilling it down.
John didnt get fishing, and he wasnt sorry. That wind at the lake would cut ya in two.
Ally Onion likes giving wet willies.
Club meetings should be held in the morning.
The brewer in the club drinks more coffee than beer.
People traveled from all over the country for the party. At least one from each county.
Big Liam made it even though I seen him before I seen his message looking for the venue name. Sorry liam
Im sure everybody got something different from the weekend, but overall, it was a great success and well put together.
Well done all, you done a superb job and every Craicer there had a ball.
Heres to the rest of the year being as good.
