hi folks the donegal harvest rally on the 13th of october anybody going,i need somewhere to park in donegal town on friday night 12th of october any ideas .

I come originally from near Donegal Town and there are lots of space at the Quay in the town where lots of motorhomes park in the summer.

hello jack we were told that there are now parking restictions at the quay in donegal town and the gardi will move you on anyway

Maurice I wasn't aware of the but I'll try and find out. I stayed there last Easter. I'll see what I can find out.

Maurice I talked to my brother in Donegal and he heard nothing about it. I must say that he is not a motorhomer. He said he saw motorhomes parked there different times.

The Gardai station is just beside the Quay so drop in and ask them. If you can't park there ask them where they would suggest.

Maurice,

I made a few phone calls today and am no further on about the Quay in Donegal Town but Ive got some other good news.

Take the road out of Donegal Town towards Mountcharles/Killybegs for about 3-4 miles and look out for a sign SALTHILL BEECH on the left hand side of the road before you come to Mountcharlesthis is helpful and that you have a super time in Donegal.
Go down that road towards Donegal Bay and there are lots of place along the sea front where you can park without any problems.

Hope you have a super time in Donegal.
