hi all im new to the forum jyst looking for info on vw camper this will be my first camper a colifornia i hope. my problem is i need to sell my car to fimance it and womdering about insurance as this would my my day to day vehicle

Welcome to mhc.
Camper insurance is usually only for leisure purposes.
When I renew our camper insurance, I have to forward a copy of our car insurance to show that we have a daily driver.
Best advice is to inquire with Dolemns or Stuart insurance companies.

One. you won't get the regular camper insurance.
Two. The cheep camper tax only applies with camper insurance.
You should ask about transferring your current motor policy onto the VW. And then see what the tax would be.
