Pity they leave out the most scenic railway journey in the country, Dublin to Rosslare where you see all types of countryside.

Where you see all types of lovely beaches maybe, but not all the mountains and rugged landscapes of the west Coast surely

True but it's quiet rugged around Bray Head to Greystones and nice mountain woodland around Rathdrum. My favourite non driving trip in the country.

Bit too expensive., but if i had it, i would pay it. I love steam trains, but never been on one. Although id say the company would probably be hard work, not like when im craicing around the place in me aul hymer
