Well folks, after 7.5 years, Ally (the founder of MHC) has left Motorhomecraic, he has had a wonderful time and thanks you all for the memories and hard work over the years.
He has written a post in the club section but this is to let the rest of you know. New admin and moderators are now in place and MHC Club will be run by existing Craic'ers".
We wish him & Julie all the very best for the future.

Have they left the forum all together or just not being the admin?

All the best in any case and best of luck to the new administrator :D

Not a wind up Jack, Ally will continue to take care of the tech side of things but has bowed out of the day to day running of the site.

Well JJF, welcome to the hot seat for the next 7.5 years.
It will take all of your might to keep it warm after the previous fellow.
Don't be afraid to ask for help on your new mission.
Most of us can say "no thank you", just joking.

I’m just a moderator Malcolm, the site runs along quite easily and the little team has had a great grounding with Ally at the helm..... it will continue that way hopefully.

Over the last few days I have accepted the role of forum moderator. I am throwing my shoulder to the wheel.
I believe that safe and responsible motorhome/ campervan practice is essential to build more services for our needs as a community.
I am looking forward to work together with the current team to drive this shared passion.
I am here to help anyone and everyone but please remember one thing, I don't work for anyone.
I am only a volunteer, who is rearing a family and holding down a job.
I will try issue a prompt response, along with the rest of the team, to your queries.
I am looking forward to my new journey with mhc.
Malcolm
