C,C, and Motorhome Show, 19-24 Feb at the NEC.

Any Craicers going? Can it be done in a day with, e.g., an early flight out of Belfast or Dublin?

I still have some sandwiches left over from the NW200.

Yeah I’m going on the Wednesday 20th. I got 2 cheap flights out in the morning and back at night. I suppose it depends how long you want to stay on each stand and what you are interested in? I’ve also gone and stayed overnight but that’s quite expensive.

If you are just going for the interest of viewing then an early flight out and a late flight back is fine, however if you are going with the view of purchasing then you need at least two days.

I have been told the February show is smaller (not as much exibitors etc) as the October show,
From the few times I went in October it took the two days to see it all,

Been a few time to both Feb and Oct not easy in one day esp if you want to see all the show and look over the vans. I could spend almost a full day looking at the accessories stands.

Ok this is closer to home and you have missed it as it was on last weekend in Belfast but it is on this weekend in Dublin.
Will they have more or less than Belfast or is it only a few motorhomes?

Chalk and cheese from my experience

NEC is Motorhome and Caravan specific where Travel show has a fee in the corner, (well it did when we went a few years ago)

Having been to both Belfast and Dublin shows in the past I found that they were aimed at the package holiday market along with some static vans to fill out space, while Donaghys/Hagans etc may have a presence there will be very little on show. The NEC versions are motorhome and caravan shows and you could fit both Belfast and Dublin into that ten times over and still not be offered a cruise holiday!
