Does anyone have any information about a stop in Armagh. I see the one on the app, but no date and not much information. Looking to head up next weekend.

There were some ladies in Armagh in our local recently. Some one asked them to say "Our Ma is in Armagh". Priceless

I’m very guilty of that myself. 😱😱. However, I do want to go to Armagh next weekend for a gig. It’s looking like I’ll be traveling alone, so as long as the van is ok while I’m away from it, I’m not overly worried about the location, but obviously, no hassle is preferable.

I have heard of people parking overnight in the Palace Demesne. However they do lock you in during the night. Not sure if it's still permitted but worth some research.

You could try the Caravan club CL. Not sure if they take non members. I know some of them do especially out of season.

http://www.cushervalleycl.co.uk/

Cusher Valley Certified Location (CL), Markethill
Cusher Valley is a small 5 pitch caravan site for Caravan Club members only. As part of the CL network, the site can accommodate 5 caravans, motorhomes or trailor tents and is open all year round.

It is situated off the main Armagh to Newry Road (A28) and between the small country towns of Markethill and Tandragee (B3) in County Armagh. It is ideally suited for a cross border stop off between the ports of Dublin and Larne/Belfast.

It is very close to the beautiful Gosford Forest Park.

Each pitch has hardstanding, electricity (16amp/8amp) and a water tap and waste water outlet. There is a shower/toilet and toilet on site.

Cost per pitch is from £14.00 per night. (including electric hook up).

The Demense is certainly no problem during the day but I would say you would be fine parking overnight on the far side of the Mall near the military museum. You could park broadside and ovoid being overlooked by houses.

Run by Linda Gilmore, you'll have no bother getting in there.
