I was thinking it would be interesting to have a survey to see what percentage of the forum keep going right through the winter. What do you think Ally could we have wee graph thing?

We used our caravan all year so our motorhome won't be any different. I suspect we will use it even more than the caravan.

I"d love to take weekends in winter but, as I work 6 days a week, I save my time off for the months when we can enjoy it :D Planning to "put her to bed" after Hallowen. :'( Now, if only I could find a friendly farmer with a barn big enough..... O-)

Need to get a MH port onto one of the garages here as well, recon it will keep the MH a lot better in the long run.

the problem with van ports is they look very industrial as they are much bigger than car ports.
a home built one could be built with a bit of consideration which would look better.
one was on show at donaghys last year but it looked like a hay barn !!

know what you mean Bob, I have 3 garages around here so space is kinda limited now, they say hindsight is a great thing, if I knew 12 years ago we would have a Motorhome I would of made sure the walls were 4ft higher so I could of parked it in one of them. Only place now we can put one is in front of one garage, hopefully wont look to bad. Will keep the worst of the bad weather and really sunny weather of the van though which will help it stand the test of time :)

The other option was to knock down one garage and build one slightly bigger and higher but thats way to much work and money :(
