Thought you were going to say that she was sitting on the bonnet to stop the tractor from raring up.
When I was a kid, I was exported to an uncle for summer holidays. He was a small time spud farmer.
After spending a half day, picking spuds between stones, the grey Ferguson transport box was loaded up and my job was to sit on the bonnet to stop the tractor from standing up. He always told me that I was a great fellow, because an extra 5 bags were brought home with no extra diesel used.
