Scared the life out of us!

Woke up in Portrush Aire, SWMBO went into the bathroom and switched on a tap, just as I lit a gas ring for tea. Both of those things were exactly the same time as a guy fired up one of those big gas flame thrower things for burning the white lines off. I was about to run, thought the on board gas tank was alight.


They got a good laugh when I went outside later and told them.

Saw your big wagon parked up at Portrush Aire on Sunday morning on the way past. Just you and another van but the looks of things... or else everyone scarpered after the "incident"!

It was Monday morning it happened.

DOE or whatever they are called now, painting new yellow disabled boxes behind the Aire. Removed the white lines first!
