Its been like that for a few days, I had to move and then merge a post that someone posted in the wrong place, it created that glitch, I'll fix it shortly.

Someone just posted since you cleared the “mark posts read” hence the appearance of the 1,2,3 etc. Tells you the un-read posts.
If you visit the forum it’s easy to see if there’s new content.

Is that showing 5 new posts since your last visit and one older post that you haven't read yet.?

At it again. Just logged in Bell showing 6 unread, but only 5 in the list. And as I go through each one I will end up with one left, as in post 9 screen shot.

It can happen, especially when an odd administration has taken place, maybe a merge of two topics or a reported post deleted. Give it until midnight when the counters reset. If it's still the case after that I'll clear some cache, I try not to do that as everyone needs to log in again.

Ok will try that,
It has been going on for a couple of days now, so a clock reset is not going to make any difference.

It's not a clock reset, it's a counter reset which includes all statistics counters etc.

P.s. It also happened to Sprinter as well so it's not only just me..

There is posts you can't see as you are not in every group, but that won't be it.

Sprinter is in all groups.

A "mark all forums read" should fix it. I'll do some maintenance in the morning.

Maybe it has to with group permissions or something like that.

Somehow I don’t think it’s anything to do with that as there are currently no groups that I can’t get access to, unlike others and I had three ghost posts and it wasn’t the first time either. All I do before hitting the mark all read is ignore it for to me I have more things to worry about, it’s not life or death!

I get them from time to time too, but they clear when ‘mark all forums read’ is clicked...... which is what I do every now and again...
Doesn’t particularly bother me either to be honest.

You are either logged out, usually by clicking a link from somwhere else, usually Facepuke which holds you in a sort of a temporary Facepuke browser and not your usual browser where your cridentials are stored. Or you are no in that group, in your case the latter won't happen.
