New to motorhoming and want to start off with something that will last us a year or so. Going to look at a 1994 fiat ducatto daily and wondering what to look out for? Any info greatly appreciated please. Really don't want to be stung. TIA

94 the model changed during that year. In the North we had both the Talbot and the then the Ducato. Mine is 94 and is the later model. Things to watch out for is the chassis leg especially under the battery tray and forward to the radiator mount. Also the radiator mounting support panel is prone to rotting. I had to replace/ remanufactue mine this year and had to go to 4 garages before anyone would take it on. Also I have heard that the 5th gear is prone to fail. Its an add on box and has to be kept overful of fluid to prevent damage, I've never had any bother with mine but the ratio is so different between 4th and 5th that you need to be doing 50 mph or more to use it.
