Galway City is not at all motorhome friendly, however
The Galway Harbour Company permits overnight parking in their parking areas for a reasonable fee and electricity is also available.
The area was taken over for entertainment during The Volvo Ocean Race and was not available for that event, better check with regards to the Oyster Festival.
Galway City Council officials were very active during the Volvo Week moving on motorhomes parked at Salthill and other 'suitable' places, Parking of motorhomes was not permitted in the off-street carparks.
Its all go to do with 'temporary dwelling' bye-laws being applied to us.
