POI Dun an Ri Forest Park near Kingscourt Co Cavan

The Forest Park has automatic barriers at the entrance, charge 5 euro, automatic lock in overnight. We did not go in so don't know if you can stay and get locked in.

so true, what if emergency...we often stayed in golden island athlone carpark..now overnight locked barrier, see other campervans staying but not for us now...wouldnt fancy the €5 either!!!!
