My daughter has just turned 12 but has a Saturday job coaching Gymnastics.

We have been trying to encourage her but this has come at the expense of the Motorhome. It hasn’t been used since July and that’s an absolute disgrace.

So I bit the bullet and brought the family to Invercoe campsite at the foot of Glencoe mountains.

I forgot how good it feels to be in touch with nature. The kids jumped straight into their bikes and went exploring.

I looked out to see Caitlin watching last nights sunset

Woke this morning to a tight frost but we were as cosy as anything. Then I've had a visitor most of this morning. A little Robin came by.... he even went inside the Motorhome for a look inside, before sitting on the bike to admire the view with me.

I forgot how much I enjoyed the outdoors.

Love the entire road through the glen, up as far as Oban. Enjoy the beauty that envelopes you.

Lovely part of the country. We parked at the campsite once while skiing. There was snow on the ground and while we were toasting in the van there was a hardy couple staying in a tent, brrr

Even Johnny Cash sung about that one Paddy, remember hearing this song and googled it to find out what it is about.... up until then I’d never heard it before.

What you are doing there can only be admired,at that age they will remember, good luck, and good weather.

Enjoy Glencoe, one of my favourite glens in Scotland. You are seeing it at it's best on a hard frosty morning. By coincidence my ancestors were involved on both sides of that tragic historic event.

Looks fab. Just wondering when I can fit in a trip to Scotland in the van on top of the other trips I'd like to go on.

It is a lovely spot. Went up through that area in July and were blessed with the weather
