That's a pity, more reason for people to turn against us, although it may refer to travellers more than holidaymakers problem being we all get tarred with the same brush.
Spent a few days in Spanish point last week without camper and was very disappointed to see so many barriers and No Camper parking signs. Then drove to Lahinch and Liscannor only to find more of same. As a half clareman who has been visiting that county for 60 years this attitude by Clare co co is a disgrace. If there is a problem caused by certain elements then use existing laws and legislation to deal with any transgressions. Do not paint all motorhomers with the same brush. Some of these councillors need a holiday on the continent to see how motorhomers are welcomed in countries there. (Not on a junket, I hasten to add!) Promoting staycations my a....e! Why can't they look at providing aires or stellplatz instead of barriers and signs. Some of these morons will need to look up the meaning of those words of course.
Finally, having stayed on Nagles campsite in Doolin on numerous occasions I would be very surprised if they were in any way involved with these comments by like named councillor. Rant over but blood still boiling!!
