Heading to Clogherhead fishing on friday evening and I notice theres a 2.1m height restiction barrier at the road leading to the beach/lifeboat station. Would anyone know if this is usually open at night or is it enforced.?

We parked at the harbour wall
It has a wide harbour so plenty of room and you don't get in the way of the fishermen .
The fish shop is fantastic .

In Clogherhead as you head down the hill into the harbour, there is a turn on the left into an old boat yard and beyond that to a pebble beach. I have seen campers parked there and at the sea wall.
We tried to park there back in July but we didn't arrive until late and all of the nice spots were gone, so we moved onto Annagasson.
You don't need a takeaway in Annagasson, O Neills bakery is there. Bring a pound of ham and mustard for the hot sliced pans.
