There is quite a few, many within an hour to 90 minutes from boat.
St.Maire-Eglise and ones around that area have EHU, can I also suggest the municipal site in Bayeux, approx 90 minutes or less from the port of Cherbourg .... an excellent inexpensive site with full facilities.
All available on the Park4Night and Campercontact APP’s.......
Enjoy the trip, wonderful place.

Briquebec is nice but there are only two electric points which are now expensive (used to be free) to use. The Aire itself is free.

Although we haven't stayed in it the Camping Municipal at Saint-Sauveur-le-Vicomte looks nice as it is beside the castle ruins.

What direction are you planning to come from, Rennes, Le Mans, Paris?

Sciotot, on SW of Cherbourg 30 mins, via D650 by a lovely beach. Toilets kept clean, cafe beside it.
But no facilities for chemical toilet , water or grey water.
You park MH on section nearest road.

I'm interested in EHU site

I'm heading bayeux cahen ,I looked on parking for4night and see few around bayeux but can't know which one has EHU which I'm looking for .
I don't want arriving to park in the dark as I like to see what's around me before I park and the boat docks at 5pm so on road maybe 530 drive an hour or so if that make s sense

3 aires in Bayeux....... 2 you can stay at and neither has electric.
One (beside municipal site) has facilities, including EHU but it is only a service aire so you cannot overnight.
If its Bayeux, then the municipal site there is wonderful, and inexpensive too.
Its easy to get to as it is just off the ring road and walking into town via the river walk is really nice.
They are also an ACSI member , see Camping Municipal, Bayeux for details.
Enjoy the trip.

The municipal site in Bayeux is a great site. Easy to get to and a short walk to the town centre.

When you mention aires with ehu and sound as though it,s essential there,s very few aires where your guaranteed a ehu even if there are some their usually in use and many don,t like sharing

This new crowd ( campingcarpark.com ) all the Airs that they are now controlling have all the facilities, Black / Gray emptying == number of places == electrical outlets == water ===security === wifi. including that you can book a pitch.
I am told that if places are booked they will not let anyone enter after the pitches that are not booked have filled up.

You buy credit on a card which gives you access through a barrier and it can be topped up from the same access point. you have to be careful the screen to flash the card is on the side at the barrier, the front screen is for topping up and contacting them if you have problems

Really I only need electric for one night and if I manage to get hooked up the ferry I won't need but that can be hit miss ,usually I wouldn't bother going near a camping as I prefer wild camp ,.
Thanks all for help appreciated

This depends on which boat if its the Oscar Wild, a hook up is no problem for him.

There's an aire in Cherbourg, about half a mile from the ferry terminal, you'll find it in park4night. Great spot beside the huge Cite de la Mer

No, but you'll probably be boarding a ferry within 24 hours.
