Hi
We stayed in the carpark of The Saltwater Brig pub/restaurant in Kircubbin on Saturday night, thank you Bob, it was you that had recommended this venue, sorry it took so long to get around to going, but it wont be so long until we frequent again. Great spot and the food was superb.
We arrived about 6ish and went into the bar and ordered a drink and asked if it was ok for us to stay in the carpark - 2 vans, we were joined by Billy (June was out partying), the manager came out and made us more than welcome and had only praise for motorhomers. We then headed over at 8.30pm for a meal and drinks, and the craic was that good we stayed until the doors closed, so we could not complain of any noise in the carpark as we were last to leave.
All in all a great spot. The manager however is leaving to go work at Malone Golf Club, we asked if he would be as accommodating to motorhomers at this venue - he laughed, but who knows
