Stayed 3 nights here while visiting Kerry.
Quite a decent site spread over a big area, and quite full every night. Lots of caravans, MH, and popular for tents too.
Mixture of open grass pitches on a bit of a slope, and individually hedged gravel/grass plots which were almost level, with tap & drain on the pitches.

Nice friendly welcome and lots of information about things to do around the area. Facilities large & kept very clean. Decent showers, plenty of time for a €1 token.

Walking distance from Killarney town centre, around 2.5km

Nice pub at entrance. Small and very popular for food. Decent pint of Guinness too :)

We had stayed 2 nights and were going to head up north a bit, but decided to stay another night in Killarney, so went back to same place again.

€39 for 2+2 and electric.

The most expensive site with the worst value for money that we have ever stayed in. We have nearly 10 years experience of touring with a caravan and mh.

I've never been a fan of the flesk. We stayed there several times in our caravan and I was never over impressed with the facilities. I only use it for bikefest these days and only when I'd be staying in a small tent. And that can be relatively expensive too.

I didn't think it was overly expensive, given the location. Other sites in Killarney seem to be the same cost and higher, and are further out of town, I think.

I have certainly stayed in worse campsites in Ireland, and paid around the same, close enough.
