Last weekend we had a camper turn up when we were full who stated that they had phoned in advance and were told they would get a space when they arrived.
Amanda asked them what number they had called to find out they had “booked” a campsite with Strand in the name in Sligo. Luckily they were happy to free camp across the bay and come back the following day.
The same weekend I read a TripAdvisor review of our site only to find they were actually reviewing Strand in Sligo. I have finally got the review removed.
Happy camping people.
Jamie at strandcampingdoonbeg in Clare.

Where I work, we get that a lot - reviews left on sites etc from people that have never been involved in our business!

In fairness it wasn’t a bad review but I don’t want people booking here think we have a billiard table an upstairs lounge with sofas etc.

Or change your name to,
"you know your Man and woman that run that place for camping in that place Doonbeg, beside Thrumps Place"

Always liked the Irish word "Trá"

Campáil Trá Dhún Beag

You'd have no issues with people mixing you up

Only no one would never find him could you imagine putting that in google maps or Garmin.and then, Himself being from Cornwall, if they contact him, they would really think someone was taking the wee/wee.

I think that " beach beside Trump small balls" would have a global ring.

We stayed at Strandcamping just 2 Weeks ago, and as far as the Mixe up with names is concerned, this would not be the only one in ireland, same applies on the continent.
Whenever Adresses may not lead to a definitive point I use the GPS co-ordinates, in case of Strand Camping Doonbeg they can be found on the home page, for some GPS the format may need to be changed, Converted, like into 52°44‘ 07.526“ N 09°32‘02.508“ W, I know that many of you do just the same.
By the way, we stayed at 29 Campsites in Ireland, we rate StrandCamping Doonbeg within the top 5, we would always go back.
