In case some folk, have been wondering, I have been missing from mhc for the last 10 days or so.
During a sleepy (or drunken ) Friday night I dropped the tablet and smashed the screen.
Since it was a 4 year old Samsung tab 3, my dear wife told me that it was time for an upgrade but at north of €250 for similar memory, I couldn't.
Variety World, Lester Square, Portlaoise, quoted €40 euro for the repair, so in it went.
However they tried a screen for a more modern samsung but it didn't work. In fairness, they sourced a proper replacement for the tab 3, and hey preso, I back in business.
But the hard lesson that I have learnt is, that I am lazy in remembering passwords since I hit auto login on most sites. I was starved of mhc gossip for 10 days because muttie here couldn't remember his password.
The funny side is that I was using my Amazon password for login in here and vica versa.
Does anyone know if the ginger god has made any purchases recently! !!!!
