I'm only guessing here but think it means if you are left hand drive then your habitation door is usually on the opposite side... or passenger side in the case of LHD.

I'm sure someone who positively knows will answer soon...

I'd say they want to know if your LHD or RHD ,it may have something to do with the pitch layout, either ways just tell them which side the door is on ,

Continental doors are where the habitation door is on the right hand side of the vehicle, usually found on all European brand motorhomes, British made vans the door is on the left side. It doesnt have to be a left hand drive as my last van was RHD and right side hab door.

Hi Rob
We have a Rapido (French) and the habitation door is on the right, same side as the drivers door. Right hand drive. Why the question is asked off you is because some sites may require you to drive on to your pitch so that your opening door and perhaps your awning in not facing on to your neighbour. We usually try to get a corner pitch if we can because it gives more scope. We do not have a rear window so driving on to some pitches restricts our view.

Enjoy your travels

We have a Burstner RHD, but only one exit door behind the driver, no cab doors.
Which is why we ask to park on ferry with door opening onto pathway, not cornered in and no options for getting out.
Also near lift, we only had to step out of lift.
We are also last on, it was interesting seeing passengers coming back to MHs and not being able to find them as so many came on after they parked or else they mixed sides A&B.
