Where exactly is that in Dunmore? I've been there a few times and I don't recognise the location.

Yes it is the old shanoon site, There is a barrier but it was open, One camper that was parked on the new breakwater was told to move up to the new site, The reason given by the harbour master was last weekend a group of camper vans left beer cans and rubbish all over the pier and empty beer cans floating in the sea,

For those of us who haven't been to the old Shanoon site how exactly do you get to it?

Wouldn't mind giving it a look at on our next trip there.

Coming from the Waterford side go straight down the town to the harbour, The harbour is on the left you will see a big building straight in front of you turn left into the harbour you will see a road to your right just before the little fish shop there is a big sign with Public Parking on it just go to the top of the road and your there.

I have read elsewhere that the park near the golf club whose opening caused the initial parking problem in Dunmore East no longer takes tourers.

Just got a new review in on the app from a Motorhome staying over, so that can't be true.
