Has anybody parked overnight in Skerries lately or has the free all day been done away with.

Still free. We tried a couple of days ago though during the day and all spaces full. Arrive after 6pm was a locals advice.

As far as I know there are 2 euro all day parking spots as well.

I parked during the day on a Sunday a few weeks ago and free parking definetly there outside the amusements so should not be an issue at night. I arrived about 1.30pm and only got a spot as another camper pulled out to leave. Most Motorhomes were still at he opppsite end of the promenade road - further end from the harbour in front of houses.

I've a 10AM pickup at Dublin Airport tomorrow morning and I'm thinking of heading up to Skerries tonight. Save on the early morning start and the rush hour around Dublin. Has anyone spent an overnight in Skerries lately ? Are we still welcome and is the South Beach the most common parking spot ?
