We found a nice site in Portrane which is just 15 Km from Dublin Airport. We usually stop in Skerries and take a walk to the salty dog but decided to look for somewhere new and found Lynders Mobile Home Park. I had previously ignored it as I assumed it was only for Mobile homes but they have around 12 grass touring pitches with EHU and they are creating more. There is black and grey waste disposal and the toilets were clean and well kept. The owners were very friendly and they have a small shop on the site with the basics. There is plenty of space for kids to play and direct access to the beach from the site. There is a chipper within a 10 minute walk which we tried out and we were well and truly stuffed afterwards. The glorious sunshine and beautiful view of the Irish sea certainly helped the mood. Definitely going to try it again. Its now added to the app.
