We used it about 2 years ago, (still have book butyouhave to have current year sticker on windscreen. We stayed a few places, at a pub and at a fruit farm ( we were the only ones there overnight in a big field as shop shut at 6 pm. We even stopped at an organic place though didn’t stay overnight. We probably spent more on meal/ produce than an overnight campsite stop, though they were all very nice. We noticed pages missing and others repeated, contacted them, as it happened he was on our route and we pulled into his village and he gave us a new book.
If considering ACSI, they are mainly down Cornwall area, 3 in Wales but very few other parts of UK.
Even Caravan and Camping, when you live in ROI you don’t get the newsletters or the big book and only one main campsite near Downpatrick, with a few CLs around.
If anyone an experience with Campercontact app in UK maybe that would be better?
