We took the motorhome to France again this year and had a great trip.
The French weather was fairly cloudy in early July so we kept on driving until we hit sunshine which was south of Toulouse.
We spent most of the trip on Aires along the Languedoc-Roussillon region.
Weather was sunny and temperatures between 25 and 37 celsius.
A lot of the Aires are using the credit card barriers system which is quite straightforward to use. Water was anything from free to €2 for 20 minutes.
Many rules seem to be relaxed and awnings, tables and barbeques were visible almost everywhere. In some places the vans were packed so tightly that there would have been no room for anything between vans.
We paid between €6 and €10 per night and one Aire in Normandy was free with electric.
It was the first time we had taken the motorhome to the south coast and we would recommend it.
This was the North Aire at Leucate Plage.
This is the four winds Aire at Gruissan marina.
This is the private Aire at Pont d' Ouilly.
This is the free Aire at Bricquebec
